The excitement doesn’t stop there! Deputy National Coordinator of the Free SHS Secretariat and Project Lead for STEMNNOVATION, Nana Afrah Sika Mensah, recently announced this incredible lineup, emphasizing the transformative role STEMNNOVATION plays in shaping Ghana’s future. 🌍💡 Event Highlights: STEMNNOVATION Roadshow: On August 30, 2024, the roadshow made a thrilling stop at Achimota School, sparking a wave of excitement among students and educators alike. 🎓🎉 Bright Young Minds: This electrifying event brought together some of the brightest students in the region, showcasing their visionary STEM projects and offering a glimpse into a future of limitless possibilities. 💭🔬 Next Generation of Leaders: The future of Ghana’s innovators and leaders was on full display, with projects that are pushing the boundaries of creativity, technology, and problem-solving. ✈️ iSTREAM Visits Flying W Airport for Aviation Program Partnership! ✈️ This August, iSTREAM had the incredible opportunity to visit Flying W Airport as we partnered up to enhance our aviation program! 🛫🌟 We’re excited to bring hands-on experiences and unique learning opportunities to our students, giving them a real-world glimpse into the world of aviation. What We Did: Exclusive Tours of the Facility: Our students explored the Flying W Airport, gaining insight into the operations of a working airport. Introduction to Aviation Careers: We learned about the many career paths within aviation, from piloting to air traffic control, and everything in between! Interactive Workshops: Students participated in engaging activities that sparked their curiosity about flight and aerospace technology. Hands-On Experience: Students got a chance to see aircraft up close and learn about the mechanics that make them soar! 🚁🛩️ Thank you to Flying W Airport for their warm hospitality and for making this partnership a reality. iSTREAM and The Family Success Center: Generations of Mount Holly, New Jersey – Back-to-School Giveaways

Our Ms. Brandi McIntyre, Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator Generations Family Success Center and iSTREAM, with Dr. Brita A. Theadford, Exe. Director was a wonderful success! Families from Burlington County gathered for an evening of learning, growth, and fun as we helped our students get ready for the school year! 🏫✨

Event Highlights:

Mindfulness & Asking for Help: Students engaged in an insightful workshop with Ms. Kristina Odumes of Black Falls Therapy and Wellness, learning powerful tools to manage stress and effectively ask for help. 🧠💡
Creating a Friendship Circle: Mrs. Carolyn Shultz of Carol Consulting led a session on how to create meaningful friendships, both in school and beyond. Students left with valuable strategies for building their social circles. 🤝❤️
70 Families & 112 Students: It was amazing to have such a great turnout! We welcomed 70 families and 112 students, all ready to learn, connect, and grow together.
Dinner & Fun: We wrapped up the evening with a delicious dinner and plenty of opportunities for families to connect with one another. 🍽️🎉
